Sanskrit must for BAMS course

Knowledge of Sanskrit is essential for those who wanted to pursue BAMS course, according to Dr P K Warrier, Managing Trustee and Chief Physician of Kottakkal Aryavaidyasala.
Most of the students taking up BAMS at present are those who have not got admission to the MBBS course. It is a prerequisite that one should know Sanskrit for studying Ayurveda, he said adding the solution to this problem is to conduct separate entrance examinations for admission to BAMS course.
