Brahmastana Mahotsavam begins in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: “These days people not only hate others but also hate themselves and this had led to an increase in mental problems and suicides,” Mata Amritanandamayi said in her benedictory address. “People were more conscious about their health, but they should also be concerned about their mind and intelligence,” she said and added that we should also have a control over our thoughts. 
The annual Brahmastana Mahotsavam began here on Sunday. Mata Amritanandamayi gave darshan to devotees at the Amritanandamayi Nagar at Vellimadukunnu.
