Appoint Panchavadyam performers:HC

The Kerala High Court has directed the Travancore Devaswom Board to appoint the remaining 12 panchavadyam performers from the list of 25 candidates, whose appointment has been stalled on the ground that the government had directed the Board not to make any further appointments.
The High Court has ruled that the post of panchavadyam performers in various temples under the TDB cannot remain stalled any further in the absence of any specific allegations of favoritism and nepotism on the part of the Board in preparing the rank list of candidates for appointment.
