BJP accuses both fronts of minority appeasement
KOZHIKODE: BJP state president P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has accused that both the UDF and the LDF are vying with each other in appeasing the minorities.
Pillai told reporters here on Thursday, that former chief minister A.K. Antony highlighted the plight of the majority community.
He expressed concern over the incidents of recovery of explosives and weapons in recent times. The investigation into the blast inside the boat at Beypore has reached nowhere. Opposition leader V.S. Achuthanandan has no interest in finding out the culprits. He is keener on giving compensation to the fishermen, Sreedharan Pillai said.
Achuthanandan is taking up the issue of the relatives of the accused in the Marad killings. But he is blind to the tears of those who have lost their dear and near.
Both Achuthanandan and Pinarayi Vijayan are fighting for the cause of extremist outfits like the NDF and the PDP, the BJP leader said.
The BJP will organise conventions in all panchayats to expose the real face of the rival fronts.
