Lecture series to be held by Amrita School

With a view to widening the exposure of the students, the Amrita School of Applied Arts and Sciences here would hold a lecture series by experts from Feb 01 – 25, according to the Director of the School, Dr U Krishnakumar, and Workshop Director, Mr S K Ramachandran. 


They said that four separate workshops would be held on four topics — media, health-care management, commerce and computer science, in which about 40 experts, both from the industry as well as the academic circles, would present papers and interact with the students. 
Mr Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Phalke award winning renowned film director, would be honored at the concluding session. 



New trends in media, qualities of media persons, media ethics, new media and photo journalism would be among the topics for the media workshop. The other main topics include memory mechanism, art and philosophy of management, creative management and disaster management, they added.
