FED-Amrita health care scheme launched

Kochi : The Aluva-based Federal Bank and the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) have launched a Health Care Registration Scheme, Fed Amrita, here today.


 
Inaugurating the launch the Federal Bank Chairman, Mr M Venugopalan, said that ‘Fed+Amrita’ was a value added service, which provides registration for check up, specialist consultation in the AIMS.  The registration, he said, was hitherto was available only through ‘Fednet’, a facility accessible only to bank’s customers.



With the launch of the new scheme this facility would be available to all the Federal Bank customers and general public through the bank’s counters,  AIMS General Manager, Sudhakar Jayram said.


 


Jayaram said that AIMS would give priority for out-patient appointments for the registrations made through the Federal Bank. The confirmation to the registered person would be conveyed over phone directly by AIMS. Payment of inpatient bills could also be made on line.
