SNDP to adopt the family of Santhosh

SNDP to adopt the family of Santosh who was killed allegedly by a Goonda mafia in Paravur near Aluva early this month.

Mr Vellapally Natesan, SNDP General Secretary has announced it today. He said that the Yogam would clear the total liabilities of the family amounting to Rs five lakhs. Already the union had paid Rs one lakh,he said.

Several organisations had held hartals and agitations in protest against the brutal killing in the area, but none had come forward to help the poor family which had lost its lone bread winner with financial assistance, he said.
