Somayagam to begin on wednesday

The stage is set for holding the 6-day ‘Somayaga’ at Mattathur in Thrissur district.
The yaga will be held in front of the Thrikkannapuram temple, where in the paddy field yaga sala had been created.
Mr. Kaimukku Raman Adithiripad will lead the somayagam,as the ‘Yaga Yagamanan’. He will be assisted by 17 ‘Hirthiks’.
The last somayagam was held here 70 years ago.
