Agriculture labourers donate the deposit money to Rajagopal

Agricultural labourers of Parali in Palakkad have presented the veteran BJP Leader and the party’s candidate for the Palakkad Constituency with the money required to be deposited along with his nomination papers. Mr Rajagopal filed his nomination papers on Thursday.

The representative of the workers, Ms Vasantha handed over the amount to Mr Rajagopal, the former Union Minister, at a function held here at the Amrita Bhavan.

Disgusted by the misrule of both the fronts in the state the workers understood to have taken a pro-BJP stand. The rich contributions of Mr O Rajagopal to Kerala when he was the Union Minister of state in the Bajpayee-led NDA government in Delhi are still alive in the memory of the people. What he contributed to the development of the state was much more than what his contributed during the past over four decades, they said. Acknowledging this  fact, several agriculture labourers have come forward in support of him.

BJP State General Secretary, Mr P D Purushothaman Master and District President, Mr N Sivarajan were those spoke among others at the function.
