Amrita engineering students land plum jobs

KOCHI: More than 550 students of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Deemed University have been offered jobs in premier engineering companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Larsen and Toubro (L&T), Infosys and Wipro.

According to a release issued by the university, all these students are third year engineering students. “We have been able to place more than 70 percent of the students, one month before the commencement of their final year engineering classes. And many more companies are expected in the next couple of weeks,” said Prof C Parameswaran, Dean of Training and Placement, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Deemed University.
