Arrest of RSS leader; Hartal total

Kannur: The Hartal called by RSS and Hindu Aikya Vedi in Kannur is complete and peaceful. The Hartal was in protest against the arrest of RSS leader Valsan Thilangeri on false charges.

Valsan Thilankeri is fasting inside the jail in protest against the conspiracy of Marxist party to accuse him.

Thilankeri was under 24 hours Police protection as there were several attempts to his life and he is in the hit list of both NDF terrorists and CPM goons. The State Police is unable to answer how can one took part in a conspiracy as alleged by them when he was under 24 hours Police protection?

Protest marches were organised in all over Kannur District by RSS, Hindu AikyaVedi and BMS. They were demanded the immediate  release of Valsan Thilankeri and accused this arrest as a part of wider conspiracy by CPM leaders and the Home Minister itself.
