New arrest warrant against Thillankeri!

Trichur : Trichur district court today issued an arrest warrant against RSS leader Valsan Thillankeri on basis of a case registered by Trichur Police in 2004. The case was registered against Thillankeri on delivering ‘provoking speeches’ during 2004. 

There are reports that the state Home Minister is under severe pressure within his party leaders for arresting RSS leader on false charges.

Today’s arrest warrant is nothing but a political revenge by the Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishan to eliminate the RSS leaders. There are also reports that the State Home Ministry is planning to withdraw Police protection to Valsan Thillankeri.

Meanwhile, Valsan Thilankeri  continued his indefinite hunger strike in the hospital  and declined to accept any treatment.

Yesterday, while talking to media at Kozikkode Medical College, Thillankeri told reporters that he will continue his hunger strike in the hospital till the CPM led Government end its practice of persecuting the innocents or till his death.
