Thilankeri’s father died,Court grants temporary bail

Kannur: Hindu Aikya Vedi State Secretary & RSS Vibhag Prachar Pramukh Valsan Thillankeri who was arrested on faulty charges was  granted temporary bail following the demise of his father on Wednesday.

He was not able to be with his father during his last days because of the political avenging of Marxist party.

The bail up to August 4 was granted to Thillankeri by the Mattannur judicial first class magistrate court as per the orders of the Kerala High Court.

The court also asked him to furnish two personal surety bonds for Rs 25,000 each to enable him to attend the rituals associated with the demise of his father Kochoth Balan due to old age related ailments. Thillankeri, lodged in the Thalassery sub-jail, was released in the afternoon.
