Muslim criminals abscond to Middle East
MALAPPURAM: The Malappuram judicial first class magistrate on Saturday issued arrest warrants for five absconding Muslim league activist in the case of attacking journalists at Karipur Airport and Mahila Association Workers in Kondotty on November 1, 2004.
The IUML activist were assembled in Karipur Airport for welcoming the former minister and Muslim League leader Kunhallikkuty,accused in ice cream parlour case. They unleashed terror on Journalist and Women activist of Mahila association and denigrated our National flag.
The case against Denigration of National flag was busted by the inaction of then Congress govt. to support the case, as the leader of their main alliance Kunhallikutty was involved in it.
In total 23 persons were charged for attacking the journalists. Out of this only 20 were arrested and the rest are absconding. In the case of attack on the Mahila Association workers there are 16 accused, of which two are yet to be nabbed.
The court has directed the police to produce all the five absconding persons before September 19 when the case will come up for hearing.
Many criminal cases are pending in Kerala courts, as the Muslim criminals absconds to Middle East countries after committing the crime.
