Elamaram’s futile attempt to whitewash NDF

Thiruvananthapuram: In a press meeting held today (31 August), NDF General Secretary Elamaram Nazaruddin was trying his best to project the human face of the organization. As usual, he talked about their agenda of protecting the rights of minorities in the country.
The surprise element in his press briefing has been the clean chit he has given to NDF about the organization’s involvement in Coimbatore bomb blast, Maarad massacre and the 336 crores Hawala case. When all these three cases are still at various levels of investigation or judicial procedures, his effort to whitewash the organization itself is a clear indication of their daring efforts to fool the public, who care less about what is happening around them.
