Afzal should be hanged-ABVP

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has demanded that the deadly terrorist Afzal Guru who is facing death penalty at Tihar jail for his involvement in the parliament attack in 2001 should be hanged till dead.

This Islamic fundamentalist should not be given any sort of clemency since he doesn’t deserve pardon. His death should be a lesson for other potential terrorists.

The ABVP wil be conducting a nation-wide protest to high-light the death penalty to Afzal.

In Kerala, the ABVP will be holding a one week programme told ABVP state secretary shri V.P.Rajeevan. ABVP will also conduct a signature campaign starting from all educational institution to the general public and will be handed over to the President.

Students will air their views on a post card and these cards will be delivered to the President. Various other protests will be conducted. Inauguration of the protest was done at Kozhikode yesterday.
