NDF activist injured while making bomb

KOLLAM: A country bomb exploded in the hand of a person leaving him seriously injured while he and some others who were engaged in making a bomb tried to flee from the police at Kadakkal in the district on Sunday.

The persons known to have links with the NDF were making bombs in a room adjacent to the Kadakkal Town Hall. The neighbours informed the matter to the police who arrived at the spot to nab the culprits.

On seeing the police, the members of the group tried to escape with the bomb. While trying to escape, Imamudeen of Naz Manzil, Chithranagar, Vattiyoorkavu, Thiruvananthapuram, was injured when the bomb exploded in his hands.
