Senior Swayamsevak Kochappan Thampuran passes away

Tripunithura: Senior Swayam Sevak  Kacheri Malikayil Kerala Varma Kochapan Thampuran (Kuttan Thampuran 63) died here on Wednesday.His body was cremated yesterday .

Kuttan Thampuran was the RSS Adat (Thrissur) shakha swayam sevak. He also was the managing commitee member of Peramangalam durga high school, the commitee secretary of Saraswati Sishu mandir at Thrissur town. He was actively involved with f Khsetra samrakshana samiti and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. He was nominated by the high court as a member to the Hundi accounts committe of  Guruvayoor temple.

He is survived by his wife Poonjaar kanhiramattam palace Usha Varma, who is the pranth karya vahika of Rashtra sevika samiti. Children are Ajith Varma, Venu Godavarma, Raghu Keralvarma, Anuradha Varma; daughter-in-law Meera

Kuttan Thampuran was present at the function of honouring the melam artist at the Tripoonithura Poornatrayeesha temple festival, when he experienced chest pain and was rushed to the hospital but his life could not be saved.. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari member Shri R.Hari, Pranth Karyavah Shri. A.R.Mohan were visited his house to offer condolences.
