Hindu Devaswom Board awards announced

Kochi: Astrologer Peringode Sankaranarayanan was selected for the first “Jyothisha Vigyanam” award instituted by the Kerala State Hindu Devaswom Board for astrological writing. The award includes Rs 5001, a certificate and citation.
Jayalakshmi Silks was selected for the “Vyavasaya Sri” award for the popular industrial organisation and Rajendraprasad, Adivasi activist, was selected for his social work. The awards will be presented at Gangothri auditorium in Kochi on December 17.
