Mannam Jayanti on Jan 1 and 2
KOTTAYAM: The 130th Mannam Jayanti observance will be held at Nair Service Society headquarters at Perunna here on January 1st and 2nd.
The Akila Kerala Nair Pratinidhi Sammelan will be held on Monday and Mannam Jayanti on Tuesday. Union Defence Minister A K Antony will inaugurate the ‘Jayanti observance.’ The minister will also declare open the newly constructed NSS working Women’s hostel at Perunna.
The sammelan will be inaugurated by NSS General Secretary P K Narayana Panicker. NSS president P V Neelakanta Pillai will preside over the meet.
Cultural programmes including music concert, ganamela and kathakali will also be held.
