Clashes between CPM activists : Three persons suffered major injuries

Alappuzha : Three CPM activists suffered major injuries when a demonstration by pro-VS Achuthanandan CPI(M) activists in Mararikkulam in Alappuzha district on Wednesday evening came under attack by a group of CPM – Pinarai Vijayan group.
The demonstration was held to express solidarity with the 22 party leaders and workers who were awaiting disciplinary action for organizing demonstrations against the party decision to deny candidature for Achuthanandan in the last Assembly elections.
