Police lathicharge on ABVP activits, many injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police today lathicharged on hundrends of ABVP activits in the capital. The ABVP march was staged alleging serious lapses by the government in the self financing issue.
It has been stated that many students including leaders sustained head injuries and they have been admitted to the hospital. A tense situation is still prevailing in the area and a large contingent of police has been deployed in the area.
