Visala Hindu Sammelanams from Sunday

 KOCHI: The year-long Golwalker birth centenary celebrations which began last February will conclude with ‘Visala Hindu Sammelanams’ (grand Hindu conferences) at 159 centers across the state from January 21 to February 11, RSS state general secretary A.R.Mohan said.

“The conferences aim to bring about emotional unity among the different strata of the Hindu society,” Mohan said. The representatives of various Hindu organisations, would attend the conferences. Spiritual, cultural and social leaders will participate,” he said.

Mohan was speaking at a press conference held at Kochi on Saturday. He said that Madhava Sadasiva Golwalker, the second Sarsanghachalak of the RSS, had worked for the unity of Hindu society. Various programmes of the celebrations also aim to achieve this goal. Mohan said that the centenary celebrations at the national level would conclude with a conference at New Delhi on February 18.
