Forensic expert begins probe

KOZHIKODE: Assistant Director of Forensic Department P D Somashekaran on Sunday inspected the remains of the boat at Beypore, which was gutted in a fire on Saturday. This boat was damaged in an explosion in 2005 and the CBI is investigating the case.
It was found in the preliminary inquiry that the boat was burned by using petrol or kerosene.
Somashekaran took samples of the boat for further examination.
