Mobilize Now, Save Kerala: Says K. Karunakaran

via HK Correspondent published on February 17, 2007

KOCHI : The Octogenarian political leader K.Karunakaran lashes out at the Marxist government. The Marxist policies of divide and rule and politically motivated Devasom Ordinance will create communal tension, and conflict. Former Congress Chief Minister Karunakaran said that the Marxist plan to  dismiss the Devasom Board and take over Hindu temples seem out of step with reality and bent on destroying Hindu temple and traditional culture. It is a sinister Marxist plan to loot temple funds and grab temple land. While Muslims and Christians can manage their own Mosques and Churches, why not Hindus run their own temples?, questioned Karunakaran.

Nefarious Marxist policies and plans are not only problematic for Hindus, but also it is troubling for the Jacobite and the Orthodox Christians. The Marxist alliance government is in constant conflict and contradiction and it misdirects the government in different, aimless directions.  Karunkaran stated that there is no reason for the dismissal of the Devasom Board and the introduction of the Devasom ordinance to take over temple management. He cautioned that the Marxist attempt to interfere with religious matters of the majority Hindus will have disastrous consequences for the Marxist government. He cautioned the general public about the misdeeds of the present Marxist government. Prices for commodities are on the increase, crime and violence are disturbing the peace of citizens. Convicted Marxist felons are released from prisons. Marxist gundas and common criminals are free to roam the streets.

Karunakaran requested the general public to mobilize against Marxist tyranny.
