Budget has not addressed farmers’ issues:Raman Pillai

KOCHI: BJP leader and president of Bharathiya Janapaksham, K Raman Pillai today said the state budget failed to provide a solution to the increasing number of suicides among farmers.
Alleging that the LDF government in the state has no definite policies, he said the government was in a state of ‘confusion’ and the “budget has fallen short of the people’s expectations”.
Speaking to reporters here, Pillai said the budget has also not said anything on the price rise of essential commodities.
