Kottaraka: Kerala’s one and only Shakunideva temple at Pavitreshwaram was
attacked and desecrated by a gang of Anti social Communist’s and the Naga Raja idol was vandalised about a month ago.

Ezhukone Sub Inspector, A puppet of ruling CPM is trying to protect the Communist Mafia gang involved in the attack of the Temple.

The devotees of the Mala nada temple have strongly protested against the delay in arresting the culprits and also in the delay in re-instating the Naga raja idol back to it’s former glory. The Hindu Aikya Vedi will be conducting extensive protest  against the inactive police force who are mere puppets in the hands of the ruling CPM.

It was during the festival season this armed gang attacked the fasting devotees and the managing commitee members of this temple. And until now not even a single attacker was arrested.

It is believed that the police had prior information regarding this attack and were instructed not to arrest any of the culprits. In fact there is difference of opinion among the members of the police force for letting the culprits go Scot free due to political pressure from the CPM.

Under Hindu Aikya Vedi devotees have decided to conduct massive protests. The Khetra Samrakshana Samiti also demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and to re-instated the Naga Raja idol at the earliest..
