Police attack on Yuvamorcha March, Hartal in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: Police attacked and lathicharged the protest march to corporation office organised by Yuva Morcha against ADB loan. More than 20 Yuva Morcha activists including K Surendran were injured in the police lathicharge.

The march was organised to the corporation office in protest against the LDF’s decision to avail loan from the Asian development Bank(ADB).

The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) will observe a hartal in Kozhikode district to protest against today’s police lathicharge on the activists of the Yuva Morcha here in the city.

Later activists of the Yuva Morcha and BJP took out a march to the Secretariat in the State capital demanding action against the police officials responsible for the lathi charge on the Yuva Morcha activists.
