BJP, RSS boycott all-party meet

The BJP and RSS boycotted the all-party meeting held here on Sunday following the murder of RSS activist Chandran at Charummoodu in the district.


The all-party meet, presided over by the District Collector was convened to analyse and solve the possible problems in the context of the murder of Charummoodu Taluk Karyavahak G Chandran by Marxist criminals.


 
The meeting, which was attended among others by representative of people, decided to sort out the problems through discussions.


 
The District Superintendent of Police had on Saturday promised to take action against concerned police officials. The BJP and RSS boycotted the meet in protest against inaction so far in this respect.



The first recent violence occurred when RSS worker Aneesh kumar was attacked allegedly by CPI(M) workers while he was getting onto a bus.
