Pioneer News Service | Kozhikode
BJP State president PK Krishnadas has charged that the CBI investigation in the multi crore SNC Lavelin corruption case involving CPI-M leader Pinarayi Vijayan was on the way to be toppled.
He accused the UPA leadership including the Congress president Sonia Gandhi involving in sabotaging the case to appease the Left forces. Krishnadas said that the decision to sabotage the case was taken at the joint UPA left meeting held in the residence of Sonia Gandhi and this was the reason for the slow movement of the CBI in the case.
Krishnadas called upon Health Minister PK Sreemathy to tender her resignation after the court registered a case against her.
Krishnadas also said that the BJP wouldl take the issue of callousness in the health department and the Minister in particular in the case relating to the deaths of many infants of SAT hospital.
The BJP leader also said that the party would come out strongly against the ineffectiveness on the part of the Government to tackle the anti-national activities after the Left Government assumed office and charged that the police inaction in the counterfeit currency case was a major pointer in this case.
