THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP president Rajnath Singh would attend the function marking the culmination of `Janayatra’ led by the party’s Kerala unit president P K Krishnadas calling for an alternative to “anti-people” Fronts in the state here on May 17.

The Yatra,inaugurated by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at Kasaragod on April 30, would cross Thrissur district today, a party press release here said.

A party team, led by former state president C K Padmanabhan, would visit Munnar in Idukki district tomorrow to study the encroachment issue, the release said.
