Thiruvananthapuram: After capturing majority of Temples in Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi region, now the Government is focussing to capture the Temples in Malabar region.

Government send notice to 23 Temples in Malabar region including famous Angadipuram Thali Temple,Azhakodi Devi Temple properties in Kozhikode and Sultan Bathery Ganapathi Temple.

Hindu Aikya Vedi president Kummanam Rajasekharan urged the Hindus to protest against this Religious discrimination against Hindus. He pointed that the Government is only aiming to take over Temple’s which are financially sound due to the perfect management of the Temples by local people. Ironically Temple owned by Atheist Communist leader EMS’s family Temple is at present managed by the Communist party itself and the Government is not keen to take over that Temple controlled by the party itself!

Contradictory to the Government policy of decentralization in all fields, They now want to centralize Temples! Kummanam warned that this present move from Government will be threat to other famous Temples in Aatukkal, Pazhavangadi,Oachira etc if not checked now itself.

Meanwhile Temple authorities who received notice from Government told that they will not succumb to this arrogance of Marxist party against Hindus and devotees will protect the Temples.

Kshetra Raksha Yatra under HAV from May 9th to May 25th will start from Kasargode Mallikarjuna Temple and culminates at Sri Padmanabha Swami temple Thiruvananthapuram.pejwar Madathipathi Swami Viswesara will inaugurate the Yatra by lighting the Jyothi in ‘Ayyapa Ratha’ from Mookambika Temple.Swami Ayyapadas and  Swami Mangalananda Saraswathi will lead the Yatra.
