KOCHI: Kerala is turning into a breeding ground for terrorists, particularly for ISI activities, BJP National Secretary Indra Sena Reddy said here.

Speaking to reporters, Reddy said that when neighbouring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh could not fight against India directly, they wanted to create problems in the country.

“First they try to destabilise the economy by pumping fake currency through different borders of the country”, he said, adding the southern state was becoming a “breeding centre” for terrorist activities.

Reddy said these countries wanted to hit the research institutes in India which were helping the country to come up in a big way by competing with developed countries.

“ISI backed terrorists want to create an uneasy atmosphere between the major religious groups, and that is why they are attacking sentimental places like Ayodhya or the Parliament or other places”, he alleged.

He also accused the Congress and Left parties of “nakedly” supporting Peoples Democratic Party leader Abdul Naser Madhani, who is in jail in connection with the killing of 50-odd people at Coimbatore, “just for the sake of votes”.

Referring to the land encroachment in Munnar, Reddy said that the landless poor should be given rights on the land.

Accusing the Left parties of blackmailing the government at the Centre, he said “now they are eyeing on the post of President of India”.

Reddy said the National Executive of BJP will meet after the Goa assembly elections to discuss the results of UP polls.
