Kerala assembly remembered ‘Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh’
THIRUVANANTAPURAM : Kerala assembly is in unison when it comes to mock the biggest patriotic and cultural organisation in the nation.
When the Minister M. Vijayakumar announced the government’s decision to organize 1000 ‘Swayam Sevak Sangh’ activists in each district to help the natural calamities, the opposition MLAs wondered whether it is ‘Rshtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh’ The Minister answered it is not ‘Rashtreeya’ but only ‘Swayam Sevak Sangh’, there is no ‘R’ only SSS.
No certificate is needed for RSS and its affiliated organizations from political opportunists. While the political bosses were sitting safely and boasting and mocking, selfless volunteers of ‘Seva Bharathi are indulged in silent rehabilitatory works in the flood affected areas.
Former Chief Minister Umman Chandi may remember, how he confessed to Seva Bharathi leaders and appreciated their great service at the time of Tsunami in a close door meeting. It was an open secrete that because of pressure from Kunhallikutty, the former chief minister have not invited Seva Bharathi in a meeting called then of all NGOs involved in Tsunami relief activities.
