Kargil martyrs remembered

Kozhikode: Floral tributes were paid to Kargil martyrs in remembrance of their supreme sacrifice by the NCC Cadets of Brennen College, Thalassery in Kannur district on Thursday. Wreaths were placed at the temporary column built at the college on the occasion of Kargil Day, a release issued by Col CN Suresh, Commanding Officer, NCC here said. The cadets later took oath in the name of the nation. A two-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the martyrs.
