Around 10, 000 detonators seized in Thrissur

THRISSUR : The police have seized around 10,000 detonators from the Sakthan Thampuran bus station here this morning. Detonators are explosive materails used as activators for carrying out explosions. The detonators, packed in two bags, were found abandoned near a bus scheduled to Kozhikode in a search operation conducted by the police after receiving a phone call. The explosives were later shifted to East Police Station here. The higher police officials reached the spot and started investigation in connection with the incident.
