Roaring Welcome to Gow Gram Yatra in TVM

Thiruvananthapuram: State capital witnessed massive participation of  Hindus to provide roaring welcome to Viswa Mangala Gograma Yatra which reached here yesterday.

Yatra reached Neyyatinkara at 4 pm, Reception was arranged there and from there along with 1000’s of two wheelers Gow Gram Chariot was taken to TVM’ city. Thousands who were awaiting there in Kota Maidan welcomed with thumping Jai slogans.

Uthradam Thirunal Maharaja performed arathi and pushparchana to welcome the yatra , later Sabarimala former melsanthi Gosala Vishnu Vasudevan Nampoothiri conducted Gow pooja. Dr Suresh, yatra’s state president hosted the flag .

Uthradom Tirunal Marthanda Varma, head of the Travancore royal family,
presided over the function. Swami Chidanandapuri inaugurated the
meeting. Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram director P.Parameswaran honoured
Dharmananda Swaroopa Hanumandas, K.V.Krishnan Moosad and Avandrakumar.
Poet Vishnu Naryanan Namboodiri delivered a lecture. P.Narayana Kurup
read out the `Go Raksha’ pledge.
