Missionary based Sex Racket- 6 including a ‘NUN’ held

Thiruvananthapuram: The police arrested five ‘Missionary pimps’ , including a nun, for running a Sex racket based at a Social Welfare Department authorised home for the destitute at Kadhinamkulam.

Those arrested are Sister Gladys, 65, Latha, 38, Shyam Kumar, 23, Alan, 22, Tarun and Prince. The police raided the institution late on Monday night following complaints from the public.

Police decided to raid as public protested infront of the centre under the leadership of Yuvamorcha and BJP. Hindu leaders Anil, Rajeev,Dinesh, Suresh sanal and Jiji lead the protest to expose the true colours of the centre

Police recovered a large number of contraceptives, porn magazines, two air guns and hockey sticks from the destitute home.There were 54 inmates at the home. Hockey sticks were used by the ‘apostles of love’ for toturing the inmates.Air guns were used for threatening the mentally ill patients admitted there.
