Concerted effort to diminish the importance of Sabarimala.

Thiruvananthapuram:Aravana issue has already gone out of control with the left government and the administration cutting a sorry figure before the world over its failure to provide one of the most cherished objects of a Sabarimala pilgrimage .This is considered as one of the biggest blunders committed by any administration and the Chief Minister , it seems does not have properly understood the whole issue.

The Aravana issue and the Sabarimala pilgrimage is turning up into one of the worst nightmares for the left government and with the exception of the police no government agency is seen involved in any work .There were complaints even against the police with several policemen being charged for beating up pilgrims .There were complaints that these policemen were not displaying their identifying marks and were bent to create trouble giving a bad impression of the state police .The hotels and restaurants are another major problem for the pilgrims with the cleanliness aspect totally at a loss in the temple premises . The temple and surrounding areas are turning into filth bins and there were reports that it was the waste dumpings from Sabarimala during last years pilgrim season that resulted in an increase in the deadly viral diseases in the areas surrounding the temple. With a poor administration and the Travancore Dewaswom board totally out of touch with the grim realities it is facing during the season time , it seems that a concerted effort is on from certain interested quarters to diminish the importance of Sabarimala.
