Sudhakaran’s charges: Chandy demands action

T’PURAM: Opposition Leader Oommen Chandy has sought immediate action based on the statement made by Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran that an intelligence report has pointed out that the UDF and the BJP were behind all the troubles in the Sabarimala pilgrimage.
In a letter sent to Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan and Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on Sunday, Chandy said that the UDF was seriously viewing the charges levelled against it by the Devaswom Minister. It is the responsibility of the Government to clear all suspicions if Sudhakaran’s claim is true, he said.
