Bhagavatha sapthaha yagnam will be held at Valanchuzhi Devi temple

PATHANAMTHITTA: The second Sreemad Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yagnam at Valanchuzhi Devi temple will be held from February 17 to 24.

As part of the yagnam, to be conducted under the auspices of the 14 karas spread over Pathanamthitta municipality, Pramadom and Mylapra panchayats, spiritual discourses, ratha yatras, cultural meetings, arts programmes and annadanam would be held, patron of sapthaha yagnam committee D Ashok Kumar said.

The yagnam and discourse would be conducted under the leadership of V B Madhavan Nampoothiri of Thrissur.

A jyothi yathra would be taken out as part of the event from Aranmula Sree Parthasarathi temple at 8 a.m. on February 17 and would reach Valanchuzhi temple at 5 p.m.

Bhadradeepam installation would be conducted by mukhyakaryadarsi of Chakkulathukavu Devi temple Radhakrishnan Nampoothiri at 5.30 p.m.

Swami Poornamritanandapuri of Mata Amritananmayi Matt would deliver the benedictory address at the Sreemad Bhagavatha Samarpana Sabha at 11.30 a.m. on February 24
