Vellapally points out the irony in Paloli Report

Thiruvananthapuram: The Money being spend for the benefits
of the citizens from Public Treasury should be aimed at creating Social justice
not Social Discrimination, Told SNDP leader Shri Vellapally Nateshan in
response to recent controversy regarding Paloli Report. He was addressing a
Secretariat march of Sri Narayana Employees forum here.
 

Those who are less in Numbers is gaining more and more benefits
through Vote Bank Politics. When 32 % of Ezhavas were allotted with less than
200 Educational institutions, Muslims which forms 20% of the population bagged
3000 and Christians bagged more than 6000 Educational Institutions. Nateshan
pointed out the irony of demanding more Educational Institutions even after
getting more than 3000 institutions, which is much higher than what majority
Hindus have.
 

SNDP is not against any help for those who are backward, But
the fact remains that poverty is much more among Ezhavas, Nairs , Brahmins and
other Hindus than among Muslims.
 

The Communist Government who came to power pledging Social
Justice is kneeling down in front of Church. The whole appointments in Educational
Institutions in which Government pays salary for the staff should be taken over
by PSC demanded Vellapally.

Shri Vellapali’s suggestion of taking over by PSC is ideally the right way to create Social Justice, But unfortunately the Christian and Muslim Institutions which got Minority Status from Minority Commission gets the protection of appointing their own staff and literally such move will only be put into practice in Institutions ran by Hindus.
