Kannur issue : High Court blasted Home Minister

KANNUR :Kerala High Court today blasted the state government & Home Minister for the continued political violence across the state. High Court pointed out that the recent Kannur violence is horrible and it is shocking to note that  the violence happened with the support of state government and Police. 

The Police forces are supposed to protect the people but in Kannur they became the enemies of people. We have seen a different face of Kerala Police in Kannur. They just became the servant of a political party and took action according to the instruction received from the party office.

High court suggested that if necessary central forces should be deployeded in Kannur to avoid any more political violence in the district.
