If a Comrade Sniff, Suspect the hand of US spies !!

And here comes the recent justification on Chengara struggle under the poorest section in the society for their right to have their share of land- Spy agencies of the United States are supporting the agitation for land at Chengara. He said that the US bore vengeance towards the CPM for the party’s principled stand on the Indo-US nuclear deal!

Land encroachment is not a news in Kerala if it’s done by Church or Communist Party or by plantations like Harrisons But it will hit the headlines when the weakest section of the society decides to take law in their hand

More than 10,000 Scheduled castes, Adivasis and other backward classes people have been on an agitation in the land encroached by the Christian funded Harrison Malayalam Plantations Ltd in Chengara, Pathanamthitta from August 4, 2007. The agitators, living there in more than 6000 temporary sheds, had on March 3 defeated a Government design to evict them from there by sending in several hundred police personnel assisted by medical and paramedical hands.

The agitators had defeated the police programme by announcing their decision to commit suicide en masse if there was any move to evict them. Thousands of people, including old men, women and children, sat in the hills in dharna carrying kerosene cans, ready to set themselves on fire and the younger men sat on tree-tops with nooses round the neck to jump down to death the moment the police came in.

The land in which now the agitators occupied is an estate encroached by Harrisons Malayalam estates, This is the same people who sold acres of encroached land to US backed Missionary and Pentacost Hate Mongerer from Thiruvalla K. P.Yohannan around Sabarimala – Ayyapan’s poonkavanam.

Kodiyeri Balakrishnan says that the Government would launch a probe to find out the sources of resources for the struggle. We request to extend that probe to find out the sources who funds for Jihadi Terrorism and Conversion activities in the state as well
