CPM-CPI clash continues in Adoor
ADOOR: DySP today submitted a report to the district collector seeking his intervention to put an end to the ongoing CPM-CPI clash in Adoor.
They have demanded prohibitory orders if the situation turns worse. A tense situation is prevailing in the area. A large contingent of police has been deployed as part of precautionary measure. The CPI will distance from the corporation council to be held today, in protest against the attacks of CPM and DYFI activists.

CPM-League clash in Nadapuram
NADAPURAM: A clash broke out between the CPM and League activists over a dispute on cutting a road at Nadapuram in Kannur. The house of Andru in Koyilattum Kandi was set ablaze and stones were pelted at three houses. A large posse of police has been deployed in the area where a tense situation is prevailing.
