Suicide of Dalit Woman- DYFI leader under arrest

Harippadu: Sex Scandals thrives in the State under a Chief Minister who vowed to take strict action against any crime on women.

 

Police arrested DYFI leader who Suresh of Harippadu, in connection with the suicide of Anitha (22). Police registered cases against DYFI leader Reni Jacob and Jayashri in connection with this case. Both of them are absconding.

 

Anitha was trapped into the sex racket ran by Jayashri by Suresh by luring her into love. With the promise of Marriage Suresh raped her and later handed over to Reni Jacob his party comrade!

 

Realizing the big trap she was in, Anitha took poison and ended her life on June 7. Police earlier tried to save the culprits owing pressure from Home Ministry. Due to protest from
SC/ST organisations , now the case has been re-opened under Kayamkulam DYSP
