Jihadi Hunt and Kerala Police

via HK published on July 31, 2008

Kochi: ‘Kerala Police’ who play as per the tunes of Political bigwigs and Jihadi Money bags are now held responsible for providing a fertile ground for the growth of Anti National Terrorists.

As a routine ritual to hoodwink the public and central agencies, Kerala Police conducts name sake raids in the houses of few known Jihadi terrorists in and around Kochi. Media carries reports about Abdul’s, Muhammad’s, Hashim’s and so on but till date, our Police forces were not able to arrest a single terrorist, rather they were not given a free hand to take actions against them.

Couple of years back Police raided a terrorist recruiting camp in Panaikulam, Aluva and confiscated many hatred pamphlets, banned books, hatred CD’s and Pamphlets to create division among Hindus on caste basis. Though police arrested nearly 15 terrorists from with ample evidences to register cases against them they were forced to release! And it’s learnt now that all those terrorists who escaped from Aluva have direct link in many of the blasts happened in India including the recent Ahmedabad and Bangalore blasts.

Who is to be blamed when the state’s Home Minister itself hugs a deadly terrorist like Abdul Nasser Madni in a public function? What message Government is giving to Jihadi terrorists by withdrawing the cases against Abdul Nasser Madni, including that of conspiring to murder then Chief Minister and CPM leader E. K Nayanar? What sort of investigation Central agencies are expecting from Kerala Police when a SIMI terrorist itself is an MLA of ruling front?

Another interesting aspect in current Anti Terror operations in Kerala is neglecting the Hot spots of Jihadi Terrorism – Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kasargode, Kannur, Waynadu and Kollam district. Current investigations are revolving around Aluva and Erattupettah as if these are the only two problem areas. The clueless police are now creating just a smoke screen by leaking few names from old FIR’s to create an impression among public that they are extra cautious and vigilant to prevent terrorism in Kerala.

If the Central agencies are not ready to warn Kerala Police and ruling elite about the need of pulling up their socks in tackling this global menace, more blood of innocents will be spilled in corridors of Indian cities in blasts with a Kerala Jihadi imprint on it.
