Kannur Tragedy – 9 students killed in Road Mishap
Kannur: Nine home-bound
children of a primary school, eight of them girls, were killed and 11 injured
when a over speed van ran over them near Irikkur, about 22 KM from here. The
incident occurred at around 4 PM when the students of the IrikkurNarayanaVilasamLowerPrimary School were
returning home after school.

The dead have been
identified as Sanjina (5), Mithuna (5), Ramshana (6), Nandana (6), Anushree
(8), Sneha (8), Santra (8), Sona (7) and Vaishnav.12 Children are admitted in
which the condition of 5 is still critical

Police arrested the driver
