KOLLAM: Security officers yesterday
seized explosives from a Sabarimala devotee. The explosives
were found in the bag of the devotee from Tamil Nadu,
Tuesday evening.

The officers on suspicion examined him and noticed
five highly explosive crackers in his bag while he was
standing in the queue at Marakoottam.

On questioning, he told the investigating officials
that it was brought to burst it in Sabarimala. But the
officials said that as there is no provision to burst
crackers here, the whole incident is suspicious.
