23 Shadow Organizations for SIMI in Kerala – 2 Top Police Officials to support them
Thiruvananthapuram: Central Intelligence Agencies have found that there are about 23 shadow organizations of SIMI operating from Kerala, the highest in any state and 2 Top Police officials from state are providing them all support for their activities.
These 23 organizations have members who have direct or indirect relations with the banned terror outfit SIMI. The financial aids for these organizations are provided by Vahad E Islami group, which contains all core militants. They have even units in lot of schools and colleges.
The intensity of this issue will be evident when we observe that in national level only 3 organizations are active and in the watch list while in Kerala there are 23 organizations working in full swing. Jihadi Students from Trivandrum and Calicut medical colleges are part of this network.
Most of the shadow groups work in the name of libraries, human rights organizations and charitable trusts during daylight to gather funds both from within the state and from abroad.
